Sweet Tooth Cravings?

In my years in middle school I would have dinner and then I would always end up eating cereal. To me today, this is craaazy. Now I think to myself, what was I doing? I would eat without thinking about how I would feel afterwards or without even questioning why I was craving that even if I just ate.


I have noticed a huge difference now because I pay attention to how I lean into my cravings. Most of the time, I crave sweets because I need something to fill me up emotionally. Most of the time I try to replace these feelings with food, when all I need is to talk to a friend, a hug, or take some time for myself.


However, other times, I really do want a cookie, but now I can identify the reasons behind why I crave certain things. I think it's extremely important for us to be self-aware of why we do what we do and then we can become more conscious about how we feel. I still made a recipe showcasing my favorite healthy version of chocolate chip cookies. These DO NO disappoint. Try them out for yourself. You will thank me later.
